Virtual Assistant

We are actively seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Part-Time Virtual Assistant to work with our Agency Manager in the Property and Casualty insurance business in Greenville, South Carolina. As a Part-Time Virtual Assistant, you will be an integral part of our commitment to excellence in the communities, assisting a high-volume agency ensuring the satisfaction of our diverse clientele. A Valid Property and Casualty license is required! Typing skills and computer literacy is a pre-requisite. This position could evolve into a full-time position if desired at some point after achieving complete success as a part-time assistant. After being successful in this position, you will have the opportunity to advance into a full-time position with excellent income opportunities if desired.


This position will be virtual, working part time from home.

Duties

To assist the Agency Manager administratively. To support him or her in achieving their sales goals by handling, as much of the non-sales task as possible


Examples:

  • Follow up with clients on outstanding documents by phone, email or text.
  • Ensuring all appropriate forms are filled out in support of the Agency Manager.
  • Enter data into the management system for Agency Manager.
  • Helping the Agency stay on task.
  • Communicate with insurance carriers for information needed.

Responsibilities in support of Agency Manager

1. Customer Service:

  • Understand the insurance needs of potential clients.
  • Provide detailed information on insurance products and coverage options.
  • Present and explain policy options effectively.
  • Complete fact finders with clients or prospects.


2. Inside Marketing:

  • Utilize computer and telephone skills in assisting the Agency Manager in his or her Marketing efforts.
  • Assist Agency Manager in managing existing agency book of business.
  • Enter Quotes in support of the Agency Manager.
  • Identify cross-sell opportunities for the agency.
  • Prepare the Agency Manager for meetings and consultations with existing clients in the office.


3. Licensing and Compliance:

Stay informed about industry regulations and maintain compliance. Help the Agency Manager with compliance.

  • Must be licensed for Property and Casualty insurance.
